How do I install Mechanical Mastery on a server?

Search for Mechanical Mastery in the dashboard, choose a release matching the players’ clients and check its server pack. Back up existing files, run the installation, then check logs and connect. Downloading files and the first startup determine how long this takes.

No. The limit counts backups, while the history covered depends on your schedule. Automatic backups remove the oldest copy to make room for the next one. Backups are kept for an active service and are deleted after the server expires.

Can I restore a backup myself?

Yes. Select a completed backup in the Backups tab and confirm the restore. This stops the server and replaces its current files. Backup size and the interval between restore attempts are limited; the dashboard will show any restriction that applies.

How can I keep a copy of my world on my computer?

Stop the server and download the world files and configuration over SFTP. You can keep this copy outside the hosting service. Do this before the service expires if you want to return to the world later.

Can I use client-side mods on servers running Mechanical Mastery?

Yes, you can add client-side mods such as shaders or a minimap. All players must still have the same version of Mechanical Mastery installed to connect.

Can I get a refund if the pack is not for me?

About Mechanical Mastery

Mechanical Mastery is a technical Forge 1.18.2 skyblock combining dozens of mods, including Mekanism, Create, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering and ProjectE. Buy raw ores with EMC, process them through increasingly complex production lines and sell mechanical crystals for an EMC profit. Each crystal tier requires mastering a new set of technical mods, with Thermal Dynamics supporting transport.

It suits experienced automation fans who enjoy Factorio-style production lines and a quest book guiding crystal tiers. Shared tasks, progression and a base make multiplayer more rewarding.

Allow at least 6 GB server RAM, or 7–8 GB for larger groups. Strong single-thread CPU performance (4+ GHz) is important because large Mekanism and Create factories add substantial load. Adequate resources help maintain stable TPS.
