How to install Fear Nightfall on a server
No uploading mods over SFTP. You install the pack from the dashboard, and your group joins from their launcher.

Choose a plan
The recommended plan for Fear Nightfall is selected in the server card. For a bigger group or a large world, choose a higher one.

Pay in the server creator
The creator opens with Fear Nightfall already selected. Create an account and pay for the plan.

Wait for the installation
The installer downloads the pack's server files and sets up Java. You see progress and the first startup in the logs.

Invite your group
Players install the same Fear Nightfall release in their launcher and connect with the server address.
Already have a server? Install Fear Nightfall from the Modpacks tab. Make a backup in the Backups tab first, because installation replaces the server files.
About Fear Nightfall
Fear Nightfall is a cooperative story-driven horror pack for Forge 1.20.1 with over 200 mods and a campaign spanning more than five chapters. Darkness and fog threaten your sanity, while Hysteria Shaders create an unsettling atmosphere. It includes Simple Voice Chat and Vivecraft VR support, with over 2.6 million downloads. Key systems include Sanity: Descent Into Madness, Born in Chaos, Sons of Sins, Fallen Monsters, Better Cave Dweller, Zombie Awareness and The Man from the Fog. Additional dimensions include the Aether, Gardens of the Dead and Deep Dark: Regrowth.
It suits groups of 2–6 friends seeking intense horror sessions with a story, quests and proximity voice chat. Sharing tasks and a base helps everyone survive.
Allow at least 6 GB RAM, or 8 GB for 4+ players, and a CPU with at least four cores. Low sanity creates extra entities; Enhanced AI, In Control!, Zombie Awareness and monster spawning add load. Adequate resources help maintain stable TPS.
